"Why NARCAN ?"

NARCAN®️ Nasal Spray may counteract the life-threatening effects of an opioid overdose. Since most accidental overdoses occur in a home setting, it was developed for first responders, as well as family, friends, and caregivers—with no medical training required.
  • Needle-free
  • Designed for ease of use in the community setting
  • Inhalation not required
  • Requires no specialized training

"HOW DO I USE NARCAN ?"

  • Peel back the package to remove the device. Hold the device with your thumb on the bottom of the red plunger and 2 fingers on the nozzle.
  • Place and hold the tip of the nozzle in either nostril until your fingers touch the bottom of the patient’s nose.
  • Press the red plunger firmly to release the dose into the patient’s nose.
  • Dial 911. NARCAN®️ Nasal Spray is NOT a substitute for emergency medical care.
